About Us

Wright Design is the partnership of interior designer Daniel Wright and general contractor Tim Clark. Tim develops the projects and manages the business, while Daniel provides the creative drive that powers this multiple award-winning duo.

Once dubbed “The Alexander Revivalists”, Wright Design are renowned for their Mid century modern home renovations, having won the coveted International Gold Nugget Award of Merit for the “Best Renovated, Restored Single House or Project” for their mid-century work.

In fact Wright Design bring something new and innovative to every project. Known for being eclectic, designer Daniel Wright says, “I like to play with new color combinations. I’ll experiment and think, ‘This could be great!’ “I don’t like to repeat anything. Otherwise, it becomes a cookbook. Let’s pull out recipe No. 41 and tweak the color. We don’t do that.”

A sensitive balance of authenticity and innovation, with the highest consideration for comfort has earned them an enviable and loyal client list.

The partnership is based in Palm Springs, once the fabled retreat of old Hollywood, now a mecca for Midcentury design enthusiasts due to the many significant examples of midcentury architecture still standing in the town, and their evident effect on the flavor of new construction and design in the Desert cities and Palm Springs in particular.
